Mastery Announces General Availability of Expanded Samsara Integration

MasterMind users can connect hours-of-service data, location pings, Routes and Documents to create a more automated workflow between dispatchers and drivers.

CHICAGO — August 4th, 2026 — Mastery Logistics Systems today announced the general availability of an expanded integration between MasterMind® and Samsara, giving asset-based carriers a connected workflow across hours of service, location pings, workflow jobs, route execution and driver documents. Crane Worldwide Logistics is the first MasterMind customer live with the complete integration.

The integration connects transportation planning and execution in MasterMind with the Samsara mobile experience used by drivers. MasterMind sends route assignments, stop information, appointment windows and operating instructions directly to drivers via  Samsara. As drivers execute their routes, arrival, departure and document-submission events flow back into driver managers working in MasterMind as well as into MasterMind loads for easy user retrieval, helping operations teams maintain a current view of load progress without depending on repeated phone calls or manual status updates.

The integration enables carriers to:

  • Bring driver hours-of-service and location information into MasterMind to support planning, execution, ETAs and projections.
  • Send Routes, stop details and appointment information directly to drivers through Samsara.
  • Automatically update route progress using geofenced arrival and departure events.
  • Capture standard documents and forms digitally as part of the route workflow.
  • Reduce paper, duplicate data entry and manual handoffs between dispatchers and drivers.

We’re pleased to make this expanded integration available to all Samsara customers, including private fleets, looking to bring more of their fleet operations into MasterMind. By connecting hours-of-service data, location pings, routes and documents, carriers can extend the value of Samsara while gaining the planning, execution and visibility of a modern TMS.

Said Jeff Silver, CEO of Mastery Logistics Systems

Crane is live with all four capabilities: hours of service, location pings, Routes and Documents. With MasterMind, Crane now has an integrated connection for Routes and Documents, allowing route execution and document activity to flow directly between Samsara and the TMS. This gives operations teams greater visibility into driver availability, location and route progress while reducing manual communication between dispatchers and drivers.

MasterMind remains the system of record for transportation planning and load execution, while Samsara serves as the driver-facing environment for route information and execution activities. Together, the systems create a closed-loop workflow in which plans move from the back office to the driver and execution information returns to MasterMind in real time.

The integration is available now to current and prospective MasterMind customers using Samsara. Customers may enable the individual capabilities that best fit their operations, with activation coordinated through their Mastery engagement team.
