ContainerPort Group Partners with Mastery Logistics Systems

Mastery Logistics Systems is pleased to announce its latest partnership with ContainerPort Group. ContainerPort Group (CPG®), a top-ten national drayage provider, is partnering with Mastery to implement MasterMind® TMS, a cloud-based transportation and logistics management system as a core building block of its ongoing technical strategy.
The Partnership
MasterMind® TMS is built to support approaches like ContainerPort Group’s – complex service offerings looking to simplify system architecture and increase efficiency. ContainerPort Group has been a leader in the transportation industry for over five decades. CPG has dramatically grown its product offerings, elevating the brand from a well-known regional drayage carrier with terminal locations East of the Mississippi, to a national drayage provider offering capacity at every port and rail in the country. This growth has ushered in a new set of requirements from a TMS.
“The Mastery team and technology supports our national drayage vision and will provide us a highly flexible and automated solution to deliver what our clients need. We launched DrayPal earlier this year to improve the lives of our drivers, carriers, and customers. Our collaboration with the Mastery team for our product roadmap provides us endless potential”, said ContainerPort Group President, Joey Palmer.
MasterMind® TMS brings to market new levels of automation and optimization to asset and non-asset organizations through a cloud-based platform that easily integrates to existing systems as well as third party systems. This will allow ContainerPort Group to continue to provide their employees, customers, drivers, and partners with valued experiences.
“We first got to know CPG in October of 2020,” said Mastery CEO Jeff Silver. “As we continued to engage with and learn about the people and the business, our excitement grew as well. Today, we are ecstatic to be able to play a key role in the continued growth of their business and to support the people for whom we have developed a huge amount of respect and admiration.”
“We are beyond excited to partner with Mastery as we adapt to an industry with such unique challenges. There are so many different parts to supply chain logistics – it was critical to us to have a partner like Mastery who is focused on innovation, automation, scalability, and cybersecurity. Unifying our transportation processes into Mastery’s cloud technology will enable us to better integrate with our back-office applications and client systems,” says Dan Ambroziak, World Group’s CIO.
